Kookabe AI Support & Call Automation
Two connected AI systems for kookabe.com: a WhatsApp assistant that answers customer questions from the company's own documents, and a voice agent that answers inbound calls, records messages, and emails the team a transcript instantly.
Challenge
Kookabe needed to handle customer inquiries around the clock across two channels, WhatsApp and phone, without hiring additional support staff or missing calls when no one was available to answer.
Solution
We delivered two integrated AI systems as an Upwork engagement. A WhatsApp chatbot receives messages via a Twilio webhook, orchestrated through Zapier, and answers using a retrieval-augmented generation pipeline that searches Kookabe's own documents for grounded, on-brand answers instead of hallucinated ones. In parallel, an AI voice agent answers inbound calls on a Twilio voice number, records the caller's message, transcribes it with speech-to-text, and emails the management team a formatted summary with the transcript and a link to the recording, all through an automated workflow.
